Welcome to Sadhana Institute

What We Do

At Sadhana, we operate a day-care and residential center for boys and girls in separate facilities with shared dining spaces. Our programs focus on:

Vocational Training

Enabling older children to learn trades and crafts, including vegetable gardening, leaf cup making, and small-scale production of food items like papads and pickles.

Rehabilitation in Rural Areas

Extending our services to underserved areas with a rehabilitation center in Tekulasomaram, Valigonda Mandal, Yadadri Bhongir district.

Our Programs

Empowering Abilities, Inspiring Independence

At Sadhana Institute, our programs are thoughtfully designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Each initiative focuses on equipping them with essential skills, promoting independence, and fostering a sense of belonging in society.

Comprehensive Care and Residential Services

Our care and residential programs offer a secure and supportive environment for boys and girls with intellectual disabilities. Separate accommodations provide individualized attention, while shared spaces encourage community bonding. This approach ensures that every individual feels safe, supported, and valued.

Individualized Education Programs

We provide tailor-made educational plans to help individuals acquire fundamental concepts and life skills. These programs emphasize learning essential skills such as time management, personal hygiene, and self-care. By focusing on each individual’s strengths and potential, we prepare them to navigate daily life with greater independence.

Therapy for Holistic Development

Therapies are integral to our approach, ensuring physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Yoga enhances physical and mental balance, speech therapy improves communication, and physiotherapy addresses motor and physical challenges. Each therapy is tailored to the specific needs of the individual, supporting their overall development.

Vocational Training for Self-Sufficiency

For older individuals, vocational training is a vital step toward independence. Training includes practical skills such as gardening, small-scale food production, and craft-making. These programs not only provide a sense of achievement but also equip participants to contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Rural Outreach and Rehabilitation

To extend our services to underserved areas, we have established a rehabilitation center in Tekulasomaram, Yadadri Bhongir district. This initiative focuses on self-help training and vocational skill development for individuals in rural communities. It ensures that those in remote areas also receive the support they need to thrive.

Inclusive Education for the Deaf

Our residential school project for underprivileged deaf children demonstrates our commitment to inclusive education. At our rural center, children are taught up to Class V, enabling them to access foundational learning in a supportive environment that respects their unique needs.

Our Work

Transforming Lives, Building Futures

At Sadhana Institute, we are dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities. Our efforts focus on education, care, and rehabilitation, fostering independence and enabling individuals to integrate confidently into society.

Therapies for Holistic Development

Therapies play a vital role in the growth and well-being of our students. Yoga sessions promote physical and mental health, speech therapy enhances communication, and physiotherapy addresses specific physical challenges. These interventions are tailored to the needs of each individual, ensuring comprehensive development.

Vocational Training for Older Students

Older students who are ready for the next step receive vocational training to prepare them for productive roles in society. They are taught skills like vegetable gardening, leaf cup making, and the small-scale production of items such as papads and pickles. These skills help them contribute meaningfully to their communities and lead more self-reliant lives.
